Layout requirements for EACL '99 Submissions Henry S. Thompson

Single column, two-centimetre margins all around, double-spaced body text.

The paper title should be bold, centered, 18-point, not all caps.

After the title, all of the following should appear left-flush, eachon a separate line, with a bold title, with values as indicated:

• Paper ID Code: from http://www.ltg.ed.ac.uk/eacl99/register.html
• Submission type: `main' or `student'
• Topic Areas: up to five one/two word topic indications
• Word Count: number of words, excluding figures and bibliography
• Under consideration for other conferences (specify)? If yes, give the names of the other conference(s)

The names of the author(s) must not appear.

Use a 12-point serifed font for body text, footnotes and bibliography may be smaller.

Section headers as follows:

• Section Bold, 14pt
• Subsection Bold, 12pt
• Subsubsection etc. Bold, 12pt

All (sub)sections headers must be numbered with arabic numerals, decimal format (e.g. 1.2. for section subsection of first section.).
