I am a researcher in the Language Technology Group at Edinburgh University.
Most of my current work concerns XML and its use in natural language processing:

• Hiberlink, addressing link-rot in citations.
• The TXM project, text mining for biomedical content curation
• RXP, an XML parser in C
• XSV, an XML Schema validator
• A schema for serialized infosets (including the PSVI)
• LT-XML 2, a new version of our XML tools, including:
  • Lxtransduce, a program to add markup to text using pattern-matching
  • Lxreplace, a program to replace or delete nodes in XML documents
  • Lxt, a fast XSLT 1.0 processor

The source for LT-XML 2 is now available for download, licensed under the GPL.
